Re-Inventing Collaboration
between enterprise pharma company & healthcare specialists
Industry: Healthcare Platforms: Web, Client’s geography: Switzerland

Objectives
Roche Switzerland approached us with HCP Portal, a digital environment for medical specialists to access Roche product information and support materials

Problem
The portal was outdated and out of usage with no practical appliance for neither Roche representatives nor medical specialists

Challenge
o identify the reason of the low traffic on the portal and come with a strategy of its increase

How We Nailed the Challenge
STAKEHOLDER INTERVIEWS
Initially, we investigated the situation with the portal by talking to ~15 stakeholders. Through interviews, we were able to see the problem from several perspectives at once deriving a common denominator for the next steps in the study
TARGET AUDIENCE INTERVIEWS
Live communication with users who are interested in the development, help to empathise the common use cases and find the correct insights
ONLINE
WORKSHOP
Interactive session held during the quarantine lockdown brought together 30 people online who during 2 days were involved in activities related to the identification of possible improvements and vector of the portalʼs growth
INSIGHTS
ANALYSIS
During the analysis of the collected materials our team succeeded in diagnosing the pain points in the current solution. Based on real data, we were able to propose a strategy for further redesign that would solve the main user pains
BACKLOG PREPARATION & PRIORITIZATION
The final stage of the research is the transformation of qualitative and conceptual artefacts into concrete rational next steps of redesign - the backlog components

For those of us who are blessed with good sight. So we seldom consider it. That’s why going off to investigate the whys and hows involved is a little like trying to get behind the wind
